In a new post today, Facebook announced that they will continue to filter promotional, ad-type of posts out of user newsfeeds.
As Facebook grows, businesses are constantly trying to push their brand into newsfeeds. Some with success. But mostly users don’t like it, or so Facebook says. So the social giant will take new steps to diminish the amount of promo spam that shows up in the feeds.
End result is business will continue to be pushed in the direction of buying ads to get their message on Facebook.
Is the free ride coming to an end? Yup.
